This example is based on the the construction 11.6 of the chapter 11 of Class 9 – Constructions. It is recommended to watch construction 11.6 before you watch this video tutorial. 

To understand this you must be aware of the isosceles triangles and perpendicular bisector theorem. Perpendicular bisector theorem states that the any point of the perpendicular bisector of a line segment is always equidistant from the two endpoints of the line segment. Using this concept, we construct the triangle when following is given:

  • Perimeter of the triangle
  • Two base angles
It is also recommended to know how to construct:
