Example 4: The diameter of the moon is approximately one-fourth of the diameter of the earth. What fraction of the volume of the earth is the volume of the moon?

Sphere – Volume

Volume of sphere = 4πr³/3

Volume of hemisphere = 2πr³/3

r = base radius of sphere
